If you are new to the Fatal Empire fantasy intrigue series, the easiest way to get started is to read the core titles first, and then move on to the shorts. (Even though the shorts take place earlier than the core titles, they do contain spoilers.) The various visitor guides to the series may be read at any point, but are best enjoyed after reading everything else.
